Does Fisher Raingutter clean gutters?
We offer gutter cleaning services exclusively for past customers of ours. Unfortunately, demand for our other services and our resultant spare time simply does not allow us to offer this service to everyone, especially at a level of care we are happy with. Our team is more than capable—but it is just one team!
However, if you are a previous customer of ours and want your gutters cleaned by us, we will certainly accommodate your request. And if you’re interested in routine maintenance, you can check out our Maintenance List as well.
Does Fisher Raingutter repair gutter systems?
We do repair existing rain gutter systems, yes, but keep in mind that repairs are not always the best solution. Every case is unique, so we need more information to accurately assess whether a repair or replacement is the best option. In any case, we encourage you to please email or call us so that we can discuss your situation and give you the proper advice.
Can I get rain gutters and downspouts pre-painted?
Yes; in fact, it’s extremely rare for rain gutter systems to be installed that don’t have a coat of paint. The only exception to that would be copper systems, which are chosen for their natural appearance.
At Fisher Raingutter, we offer more than thirty color options for aluminum gutters, so no matter your needs, we should be able to find one that complements your home nicely.
And should you ever decide that you want your gutters to be a different color, most painters should be able to add a new layer of paint to our systems without a problem.
Should I have gutters installed before or after having my house painted?
In almost all cases, if makes sense to paint your home first and install gutters afterward. This is not only because it makes choosing a color for your system easier, but it also eliminates the need for painters to tape off your new gutters and risk damaging them in the process.
Of course, this is not a blanket statement, so feel free to contact us if you want to discuss your situation further.
If I’m remodeling my home, at what point should I install new gutters?
Usually, rain gutters will be done toward the end of your remodel to avoid damage while other trades are completing their work.
The one exception to this may be landscaping—you may want to get your gutters installed prior to that to avoid the possibility of damaging new plants. Even so, it might be smart to go against that advice if your landscaping will involve a drainage system that you want your rain gutters to tie into.
